Electrical Engineer

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000

Job Summary:

As our Electrical Engineer, you will provide essential engineering services to ensure the safe and efficient operation, directly supporting production, maintenance, and administrative departments to achieve plant goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all phases of assigned projects, from initial concept and scope development to detailed written specifications, bid solicitations and meetings, equipment and facilities engineering/design, manufacturing, and installation, through final start-up, acceptance, and project close-out.
  • Provide expert engineering support to production, technical, and maintenance teams to address various equipment and process issues, with a specialization in FPGA-related and broader electrical engineering challenges.
  • Take a leadership role in promoting and implementing our Business System concepts and philosophies within your area of responsibility.
  • Recognize and actively promote that accident and injury prevention are as critical as production, quality, delivery, recovery, and cost control, working safely and fostering a strong safety consciousness among colleagues.
  • Ensure that all employment practices under your control, including hiring, promotions, demotions, and discipline, comply with equal employment opportunity laws and company policy.
  • Participate in the annual development of the plant's three-year budget process by contributing to scope development, soliciting quotes, and generating detailed project descriptions and budget costs.
  • Develop core cross-functional project teams and create detailed project specifications and Scopes of Work to obtain accurate project cost estimates.
  • Generate comprehensive project progress schedules and prepare and submit funding requests (RFAs) for approval.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • EE experience in a manufacturing environment with large machinery.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • 1+years of experience in a manufacturing environment
